Thanks to everyone’s support, it will soon be 30 years since we opened in this location. As our restaurant name suggests — Shoya: an Edo-era village headman — the rustic interior is designed for counter comfort and table seating, with a warm sunken kotatsu for 12 to 13 guests in the back, suited to serving various party sizes.

Please try our recommended Japanese-style beef-sinew stew. It has a spicy flavor, and once you try it, you’ll be addicted! Homemade chicken meatball soup is also recommended.

During all business hours, up to 2 drinks (including draft beer, shochu highball, approx. 180ml of sake, a glass of wine) per person will be served at half price. We’re looking forward to your visit!
